Responsibilities
- Investigate near misses, minor injuries, recordable incidents, lost-time injuries, and vehicle accidents within one day and follow up on corrective actions to completion.
- Maintain a visible presence in the processing facility and other operational areas to promote safety awareness.
- Perform routine safety and health inspections and ensure all identified issues are resolved.
- Deliver certified training in areas including forklift operation, lockout/tagout, fall protection, respiratory protection, confined space entry, and other assigned topics.
- Accurately and promptly record data in incident, training, and corrective action tracking systems.
- Support organizational training needs and ensure all monthly safety training is completed on schedule.
