Responsibilities
- Create automated notifications for upcoming certification expirations and manage renewal follow-ups
- Examine safety performance data to detect trends, recurring issues, and high-risk areas needing intervention
- Produce regular safety reports covering incident statistics, proactive metrics, and industry comparisons
- Work with HR to verify completion of safety onboarding tasks prior to employee field deployment
- Help prepare documentation required for regulatory audits and compliance inspections
- Manage electronic storage systems for safety records, including SDS files, job hazard analyses, and meeting logs
- Revise and circulate toolbox talk content and safety advisories
- Monitor corrective actions from audits and inspections to confirm timely resolution
- Support incident investigations by compiling records and tracking resolution steps
- Coordinate drug and alcohol testing schedules and maintain records per DOT and internal policy
- Assist in tracking safety recognition initiatives and reward program logistics
- Develop presentation materials and performance summaries for executive safety reviews
- Track national and global safety alerts and share pertinent updates with field personnel
- Format and maintain safety policies, procedures, methods of procedure, and standard operating procedures
- Support Safety Committee activities, including preparation of meeting materials and event coordination
