Responsibilities
- Investigate near misses, first aid cases, recordable incidents, lost-day injuries, and vehicle accidents within one day and follow up on corrective actions.
- Be highly visible in the processing facility and other locations to assist staff and promote safe work behaviors.
- Perform regular safety and health inspections, record results, and verify resolution of identified issues.
- Provide certified training on Powered Industrial Trucks.
- Provide certified training on Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Provide certified training on Fall Protection measures.
- Provide certified training on Respiratory Protection equipment and protocols.
- Provide certified training on Confined Space Entry safety.
- Deliver additional safety training as assigned.
- Enter accurate data into systems for incidents, training records, and corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Assist with organizational training programs and ensure all monthly safety training is completed on schedule.
Compensation

Schedule
Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work based on scheduling needs
