We are looking for a skilled engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of rolling stock systems for rail transit projects. In this role, you will develop technical specifications, support design integration, and ensure compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and review engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for rail vehicle components and subsystems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems within rolling stock designs
- Support verification and validation processes to confirm design performance and safety standards
- Engage with suppliers, manufacturers, and operators to coordinate design requirements and resolve technical issues
- Apply industry codes and standards to ensure designs meet operational and regulatory expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in rail or transportation engineering, particularly in rolling stock or vehicle systems
- Familiarity with design tools such as CAD and simulation software
- Strong understanding of safety-critical systems and regulatory frameworks in rail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within integrated project teams
