This role focuses on advancing robotic-assisted surgical capabilities in hospitals throughout the Nordic region. As a key partner in clinical adoption, you will work directly with surgical teams, hospital staff, and technical experts to ensure seamless integration of the HUGO™ RAS-system into daily practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams to define clear goals and performance indicators for robotic surgery programs.
- Lead regular program reviews to monitor progress, identify challenges, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Design and manage comprehensive training plans for surgeons, including coordination of off-site Medtronic programs and proctored case support.
- Develop tailored education pathways for support staff, guiding them through training and hands-on learning phases.
- Be present during early surgical procedures to assist teams in adapting to new technology and workflows.
- Apply change management principles to build trust, encourage adoption, and secure long-term engagement from healthcare professionals.
- Coach clinical teams to build internal expertise and ensure sustainable program success.
- Coordinate with Medtronic field service engineers and hospital personnel to prepare operating rooms for robotic system installation and use.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Biomedical Engineering or Nursing is preferred. Candidates must be fluent in English and the local language of their assigned country. A minimum of two years of experience in an operating room or surgical environment is required. Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working in clinical settings are essential.

Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with over 75% travel across the Nordic countries. You will be based in one of the major cities—Copenhagen, Aarhus, Oslo, Trondheim, or Stockholm—and expected to support sites throughout the region.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary ranges vary by country: Denmark (624,000–936,000 DKK), Norway (714,400–1,071,600 NOK), Sweden (535,200–802,800 SEK). The role is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
