Responsibilities

  • Evaluate physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs by reviewing records, direct observation, and patient interviews.
  • Monitor patient responses and take appropriate actions to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Create and carry out individualized care plans in alignment with nursing standards and team input.
  • Perform a range of clinical procedures such as IV therapy, wound management, medication delivery, catheterization, and specimen collection.
  • Maintain accurate, private, and up-to-date patient documentation.
  • Record patient status, treatments, reactions, and results with precision and timeliness.
  • Utilize digital systems to enhance communication, reduce errors, and support clinical decisions.
  • Advocate for patient safety, well-being, and rights in all aspects of care.
  • Assess readiness and capacity of patients and families to learn, then deliver tailored education.
  • Instruct patients and families and assess how well the teaching has been understood and applied.

Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center with 24/7 readiness for trauma care.
