About the Role

This position involves conducting on-site and virtual risk assessments for commercial clients, analyzing operational processes, and delivering customized recommendations to minimize workplace incidents and enhance risk management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform risk evaluations at client locations across various industries
  • Identify hazards related to equipment, procedures, and environmental conditions
  • Develop loss prevention strategies tailored to client operations
  • Deliver clear, practical recommendations to reduce risk exposure
  • Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to support risk decisions
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and corrective actions
  • Conduct follow-up reviews to assess implementation of recommendations
  • Stay current on regulatory standards and industry best practices
  • Assist in training clients on safety protocols and risk mitigation
  • Use data to prioritize high-risk accounts for intervention
  • Support development of risk control tools and resources
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Respond to urgent client requests related to emerging risks
  • Participate in team meetings and cross-functional initiatives
  • Travel to client sites as needed, including multi-day trips
  • Adapt assessment methods for diverse business environments
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
  • Ensure consistency with company risk control standards
  • Use digital platforms to document and share findings
  • Support large account risk initiatives
  • Evaluate contractor safety programs
  • Review emergency preparedness plans
  • Assess fire protection and building safety systems
  • Provide input on policy conditions based on risk findings
