Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage every customer to build trust and assist in identifying suitable financial service options
- Carry out opening and closing tasks that do not involve management duties
- Maintain a tidy, well-stocked sales area and ensure merchandise is attractively displayed
- Process sales and loan activities following company policies, industry practices, and legal regulations
- Manage cash and negotiable instruments in compliance with established guidelines
- Independently accept, assess, lift, transport, and secure customer goods during pawn, purchase, and retail operations
- Respond to incoming phone calls according to company protocols
- Clearly explain the legal terms of pawn and buy transactions to customers
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisors using effective techniques
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a welcoming workplace and enhance customer satisfaction
- Complete all assigned training programs successfully
- Perform additional related tasks as directed by management
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Demonstrates initiative and a proactive mindset
- Strong motivation to serve customers and collaborate within a team
- Capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting
- Proficient in performing basic arithmetic accurately
- Highly attentive to detail with solid organizational abilities
- Possesses strong communication skills, including speaking, body language, and active listening
- Able to work autonomously with limited oversight
- Shows dedication to work and sound business judgment
- Willingness to work at various locations as required
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays based on operational needs
- Comfortable using computers and standard office equipment
- Capable of handling firearms when necessary
