Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment by interacting with customers professionally and resolving their issues promptly
- Oversee and assist in the development of Pawnbrokers to meet required standards
- Attract and hire top talent through approved recruitment channels
- Open and close the store, manage cash and inventory, and follow security protocols
- Protect assets through inventory management, safety procedures, and loan documentation
- Manage store operations, including inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting
- Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through effective communication and goal setting
- Ensure operational standards meet or exceed company benchmarks
- Monitor loan approval and purchasing processes to maintain loan value and integrity
- Complete assigned tasks and training for personal development
- Communicate store mission and profit goals clearly to employees
- Stay updated on product knowledge
- Act as the manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager
- Perform other related duties as needed
Requirements
- Ability to perform duties for extended periods
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Proven ability to supervise others effectively
- Proficient with firearms and willing to obtain certification
- Minimum age of 18 years
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to work in multiple locations as needed
- Flexible to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays
- Computer literate with experience in POS systems and office machines
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in cash handling
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent work ethic and strong business acumen
