Sila Services is hiring a Residential HVAC Service Apprentice

Responsibilities

  • Educate customers on HVAC system operation and provide guidance on energy efficiency and preventive care.
  • Maintain strong customer satisfaction by participating in post-service evaluations and responding to feedback.
  • Actively address customer concerns to exceed expectations and ensure positive service experiences.
  • Achieve high first-time repair success by arriving prepared with correct tools, parts, and diagnostic plans.
  • Respond to service requests within established time guidelines to maintain reliability.
  • Ensure timely responses to support customer comfort and build long-term trust.
  • Diagnose HVAC system malfunctions and present viable repair or replacement options to customers.
  • Meet or surpass monthly service revenue goals to support business growth.
  • Identify and recommend additional services, products, or maintenance plans during customer visits.
  • Enroll customers in ongoing service agreements to support recurring revenue and lasting relationships.
  • Maximize productivity by efficiently handling work orders and minimizing non-billable time.
  • Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on home heating and cooling systems.
  • Improve technical expertise through ongoing training, certification, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Monitor and manage inventory in service vehicles to prevent shortages and overstocking.
  • Follow all safety procedures to maintain a flawless safety record.
  • Ensure zero safety incidents during the performance period by adhering to protocols.
  • Keep accurate digital records of service details, repairs, and parts used in the service management system.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, sharing insights and offering assistance when needed.
  • Support a positive, cooperative team culture through respectful interactions.
  • Present oneself professionally in appearance and communication during customer interactions.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled service appointments.
  • Complete any additional assigned tasks as needed.
