Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical oversight on construction sites as part of the consulting team.
- Manage the installation and construction of drinking water distribution systems.
- Supervise the building and installation of fire protection systems.
- Oversee work on gas distribution network installations.
- Monitor the implementation of stormwater and sanitary sewer systems.
- Supervise mechanical components of irrigation and landscape systems.
- Coordinate mechanical construction with other utility systems such as roads, electrical networks, telecommunications, and street lighting.
- Ensure all construction activities follow approved plans, technical specifications, and international codes.
- Evaluate and approve contractor-submitted shop drawings, material samples, and work methods.
- Track project quality, schedule, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and assess inspection records, progress updates, and technical reports.
- Address technical challenges on-site and liaise with design personnel when necessary.
