Position Overview
Join a forward-thinking team as a Remote Project Architect focused on managing projects across California. In this role, you will take ownership of design continuity from schematic development through construction administration, ensuring each phase aligns with the original vision and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide projects through all phases—Schematic Design, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration—maintaining design fidelity and technical accuracy
- Coordinate documentation workflows and ensure seamless integration between internal teams and external consultants
- Lead reviews for building code compliance, accessibility standards, and jurisdictional requirements
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal stakeholders, and design teams
- Supervise job captains and production staff, providing direction and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Support construction administration tasks including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and addenda issuance
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in a project architect capacity
- Proven track record managing end-to-end delivery of U.S.-based building projects
- Strong understanding of technical documentation, permitting processes, and construction practices
- Ability to lead teams remotely while maintaining accountability and collaboration
