Corporate Immigration Attorneys was looking for a Remote Business Immigration Attorney

Corporate Immigration Attorneys is hiring a Remote Business Immigration Attorney to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing employment-based immigration cases, with a focus on EB1, EB2-NIW, and RFEs. You will manage client cases, conduct legal research, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Diligently prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover letters.
  • Develop an expert-level understanding of client cases, preparing immigrant/non-immigrant petitions with in-depth knowledge of the application process and requirements, specifically in EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs.
  • Manage various projects and deadlines, and prepare and revise documents.
  • Explain legal terminology to clients succinctly in a timely manner.
  • Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date on legislative changes that may affect immigration.
  • Develop solutions to complex legal questions.
  • Provide training to client companies and individuals on substantive legal topics and updates about new immigration laws and regulations.
  • Partner with colleagues to share information, resolve client issues, and support all client projects.
  • Regularly and effectively communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy.
  • Assess the eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the U.S.
  • Work with global mobility personnel and the office of general counsel, preparing petitions and applications for submission to the Department of Labor (DOL) and USCIS.
  • Supervise the work of paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation to ensure no mistakes are made.

What We're Looking For

  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law school.
  • A strong academic background.
  • Admission to a US state bar in good standing.
  • High-level organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume law firm setting.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn across various practice areas.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to independently work on daily tasks, proactively, and with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

  • 1-2 years of experience with EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin.
