About the Role
The selected candidate will contribute to the development and execution of architectural designs, producing technical drawings and models in Vectorworks while collaborating closely with project leads to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed architectural drawings and plans using Vectorworks
- Develop 2D and 3D models for design visualization
- Support the design team with documentation for construction and permitting
- Collaborate with architects and designers on project development
- Revise drawings based on feedback from team members and clients
- Maintain organized project files and design versions
- Ensure designs comply with technical and regulatory standards
- Assist in preparing presentation materials for client reviews
- Participate in design coordination meetings
- Translate conceptual sketches into technical documentation
- Produce accurate floor plans, elevations, and sections
- Integrate design changes efficiently into existing models
- Support sustainable design practices through documentation
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
- Ensure consistency in design language across deliverables
- Use Vectorworks efficiently to meet project timelines
- Contribute to design quality control processes
- Communicate effectively with team members across time zones
- Adapt designs to meet client specifications and site conditions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of architectural trends and tools
