Responsibilities
- Create test setups for actuators, batteries, structural elements, wiring, sensors, modules, and complete systems based on robotic usage and lifespan expectations.
- Develop and approve test procedures while training engineers and technicians to carry them out.
- Oversee multiple concurrent reliability testing initiatives.
- Communicate test progress and outcomes to interdisciplinary teams.
- Lead the failure-to-fix process by conducting in-depth root cause investigations, designing replication tests, and establishing validation methods to confirm resolution of failure modes.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $250,000 annually. Actual pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Total compensation may include additional benefits depending on the role.
