Responsibilities
- Lead and further develop the Group Planning Department.
- Assist in rolling out and managing changes to internal operational procedures known as 'The Kirby Way'.
- Establish a CBS framework for 'The Kirby Way' by November 30, 2018.
- Provide monthly updates to the Group Operations Director on the progress of 'The Kirby Way' implementation.
- Conduct monthly project risk assessments and evaluate project performance with project managers.
- Create strategies and suggest actions to reduce project risks for operations and project managers.
- Help execute corrective measures to address identified risks.
- Collaborate with operations managers to closely track high-risk projects and manage associated risks.
- Identify and analyze potential risks and opportunities across projects.
- Advise directors, business unit leaders, and operations managers when intervention is necessary.
- Offer internal consulting and support to stabilize projects experiencing difficulties.
- Evaluate major new projects with operations managers, identifying internal and external risks and opportunities, and prioritize accordingly.
- Partner with operations and commercial teams to improve forecasting accuracy and predict project outcomes.
- Gather monthly business unit reports from operations managers, consolidate them, and assess risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate with project and facility managers to enhance integration of support services into project workflows.
- Attend relevant Heads of Meetings (HOMs) as required.
- Participate in key project commercial review meetings.
- Support the mentoring and monitoring of new project managers during their initial projects.
- Proactively maintain information security and comply fully with the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS).
