Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with Clinicians using platforms including Vivian, Allied Travel Careers, LinkedIn, and Facebook groups
- Initiate contact with potential candidates through messages and phone calls prior to formal applications
- Develop and sustain a personal network of qualified healthcare professionals
- Respond promptly to leads generated through job platforms
- Quickly engage applicants and transition them into active candidate status
- Perform initial screening calls to evaluate qualifications, availability, and job preferences
- Establish trust and present roles in a compelling manner
- Prepare and forward candidate summaries for open positions
- Verify the accuracy of credentials, scheduling availability, and role suitability
- Match candidates with appropriate contract-based healthcare opportunities
- Maintain regular contact with candidates throughout the hiring journey
- Keep inactive candidates engaged for potential future placements
- Offer frequent updates and follow-ups proactively
- Manage salary discussions with professionalism and market-aware realism
- Share insights on prevailing pay rates, competitor trends, and candidate expectations
- Publish job postings across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Participate in online professional communities to attract medical staff
- Enhance employer branding and stimulate inbound interest through consistent social media activity
Benefits

Team
Rotational weekend schedule shared with three other recruiters; direct guidance provided by a senior recruiter
Working Hours
Monday to Friday from 14:30 PM – 23:30 PM South African time, subject to adjustment due to U.S. daylight saving changes and operational needs
Weekend Work Requirements
- Alternating weekend shifts on a rotational basis with three other recruiters
- When assigned to weekend duties, compensatory time off during the week will be provided
Public Holidays
Must be available to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays
Technical Requirements
- A fixed fibre internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps upload and download speed and wired Ethernet capability is required
- Reliable power backup system is mandatory
