About the Role
This position involves applying quantitative methods to evaluate and mitigate financial, operational, and supply chain risks within a research-driven organization. The analyst will develop models, interpret data, and collaborate across departments to enhance risk-informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop statistical models to assess financial and supply chain risks
- Analyze large datasets to identify risk patterns and anomalies
- Support scenario analysis and stress testing for business continuity planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk insights into strategic initiatives
- Monitor key risk indicators and generate periodic reporting
- Evaluate the impact of market volatility on procurement and production costs
- Improve risk assessment frameworks using quantitative techniques
- Translate complex data findings into actionable business recommendations
- Maintain documentation for modeling methodologies and assumptions
- Ensure compliance with internal risk governance standards
- Participate in audits related to risk management processes
- Assist in the development of early warning systems for operational disruptions
- Work closely with finance and supply chain units to quantify exposure
- Update risk models based on evolving business conditions
- Contribute to enterprise risk management reporting
- Utilize programming tools for automation of risk analysis workflows
- Validate third-party risk assessments for accuracy and relevance
- Stay current with industry trends in quantitative risk modeling
- Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support ad hoc risk-related requests from senior leadership
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline
- Professional certification in risk management (e.g., FRM, PRM)
