Lead the development and execution of end-to-end quality systems within a high-growth AI hardware organization. As Quality Manager, you will shape quality processes across incoming inspection, production, supplier management, and field operations, ensuring robustness and scalability across product lines including M.2, PCIe, and single-board computing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and refine incoming and outgoing quality control (IQC/OQC) processes for all hardware product families, setting inspection standards and test coverage in partnership with engineering teams
- Lead the full RMA lifecycle: analyze returned products, conduct root cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain quality dashboards tracking yield, defect rates, and field return trends, delivering insights to operations leadership
- Qualify and audit suppliers and manufacturing partners, managing quality scorecards and driving improvement initiatives for critical components
- Lead non-conformance resolution, including evaluation of 8D reports and CAPA effectiveness
- Support new supplier and second-source qualification with a focus on quality readiness
- Integrate quality checkpoints into the new product introduction (NPI) process, defining exit criteria for DVT and PVT phases
- Ensure smooth transition of products from development to mass production with strong yield learning and process control
- Oversee documentation such as control plans, FMEAs, and work instructions in collaboration with contract manufacturers
- Manage product compliance certifications (CE, FCC, UL) and ensure adherence to regulatory standards throughout the product lifecycle
- Act as the internal authority on environmental regulations including RoHS, REACH, and WEEE
- Establish and maintain a certified quality management system aligned with ISO 9001 principles
- Promote structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa across operations teams
- Ensure all quality records are audit-ready and meet customer and regulatory expectations
