Responsibilities
- Evaluate contractual and internal quality management standards to determine relevance for specific projects and documentation.
- Create quality metrics and certification plans to meet contractual, organizational, and legal compliance needs.
- Assess supplier capabilities to inform selection decisions.
- Engage in design reviews to integrate quality considerations into product development.
- Conduct data analysis to verify readiness for manufacturing and testing phases.
- Determine dispositions for non-conforming materials through review processes.
- Examine trends in non-conformances to assess the success of corrective measures.
- Generate performance summaries and statistical reports to verify process capability.
- Operate with minimal supervision while contributing to quality objectives.
- Act as a representative for quality assurance in cross-functional teams to embed compliance in proposals and program workflows.
- Interpret quality requirements and provide expert guidance on their application.
- Formulate quality metrics and certification strategies for smaller-scale programs to ensure adherence to standards.
- Carry out assessments and validations of supplier processes to support sourcing decisions.
- Join design and development reviews to ensure quality attributes are included in final product specifications.
- Execute audits, testing, and analytical reviews to confirm production and test preparedness, including material disposition.
- Analyze recurring non-conformance data and suggest improvements to address root causes.
- Conduct benchmarking and in-depth evaluations to maintain required process performance levels.
- Work with general oversight and direction in fulfilling quality assurance duties.
