Imagine Worldwide is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager - Tanzania

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage ongoing testing procedures for learning software, including during major updates
  • Establish and maintain test labs in offices and schools to support quality assurance and demonstrate progress to stakeholders
  • Conduct functional testing of software, including reviewing thousands of localized learning units for content accuracy, visuals, audio quality, and unexpected issues
  • Evaluate user experience, navigation, and adaptive learning pathways, including algorithm behavior
  • Test software configuration and settings functionality
  • Verify accuracy of analytical data generated by the software
  • Recruit and supervise temporary testing teams ahead of major software releases
  • Ensure testers receive proper training to carry out assigned testing tasks
  • Maintain high standards for reporting software issues
  • Coordinate task distribution among testing team members
  • Monitor and assess individual tester performance
  • Serve as the primary local contact for the Learning Content Provider
  • Design and execute testing for customized software versions used in school-based learning environments, aligned with project goals
  • Collect and organize data from field experiments to guide improvements
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to improve learner engagement and educational outcomes
  • Test device performance under various conditions related to software changes
  • Assist the global analytics team in gathering logs and usage data from deployed devices
  • Develop and run testing protocols for data quality from tablets, monitoring systems, and related tools
  • Build and apply strategies to verify data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency, and integrity
  • Implement methods for data validation and cleansing when necessary
