About the Role
This position is responsible for leading quality assurance activities, designing test strategies, executing test cases, and identifying defects to ensure software meets defined requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Execute manual and automated testing procedures across multiple platforms
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue management tools
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve identified issues
- Ensure software compliance with functional and non-functional requirements
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Validate integration points between systems and external partners
- Support user acceptance testing and coordinate feedback collection
- Perform regression testing to confirm fixes do not introduce new issues
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing tools and methodologies
- Assess risks associated with software releases
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
- Verify data accuracy and integrity across applications
- Ensure adherence to healthcare industry regulations and standards
- Work closely with business analysts to clarify requirements
Nice to Have
- Certification in software testing or quality assurance
- Experience with performance or security testing
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with API and web services testing
- Exposure to electronic health records or claims processing systems
