Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to review new features and changes, identifying risks and ensuring requirements are clear, testable, and well understood before release
- Thoroughly test new features and improvements across web and mobile platforms, validating functionality, usability, edge cases, and real-world workflows before they reach customers
- Write clear, actionable bug reports that help engineers quickly understand, reproduce, and resolve issues, and verify fixes once they are implemented
- Help improve our QA processes, documentation, and test coverage by identifying gaps, refining workflows, and advocating for quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Investigate customer-reported issues by reproducing bugs, gathering context, and collaborating with Support and Engineering to ensure timely resolution
- Participate in team discussions, retrospectives, and learning opportunities to continuously improve your craft and contribute to a friendly, supportive, and quality-focused team culture
Requirements
- Reside in the United States
- Eligible to work in the United States (we are currently unable to offer employment to those with H-1B visas)
- Be willing to travel three times each year to connect with the rest of the team
- 1-2 years of experience in software testing
- Knowledge of various phases of SDLC and how QA fits into it
- Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing techniques
- Experience with bug tracking and version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks
