Revvity is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality efforts for high-volume, scalable enterprise software. In this role, you will design test plans, write and execute test cases, and drive automation using Playwright with TypeScript, working as an integral member of a scrum team.
What You'll Do
- Design test plans and write/execute test cases for functional and performance testing.
- Implement automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Work as a member of the scrum team, participating in planning, estimating, and verifying user stories.
- Develop deep expertise in your assigned product domain.
- Communicate status, metrics, and issues effectively on a regular basis.
- Adhere to Revvity Signals practices and contribute to high-quality test summary reports.
- Become a user expert on the product, advocating for customer issues.
- Create and execute integrated automated test cases in conjunction with manual testing efforts.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a Science-based field.
- 7+ years of experience qualifying high-volume, scalable enterprise software.
- Excellent experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent understanding of the Quality Assurance lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of test case management and bug tracking systems like Jira and Zephyr.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with automation tools like Playwright, TestComplete, or Selenium.
- Experience with databases, data platforms, and developing API test frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium for UI automation.
- Excellent experience transforming manual test cases into automated ones.
- Experience in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking, and reporting.
- Development experience in Java, .NET, or TypeScript is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience testing systems at a large scale.
