Sapiensia is looking for a QA Engineer / Software Tester to play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of our software products. You will validate new features, prevent regressions, and support the team in delivering high-quality releases in our remote-first environment.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test processes for web applications.
- Execute manual tests when automation is not applicable or during exploratory testing.
- Create, review, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and automated test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring proper follow-up until resolution.
- Perform regression, exploratory, and functional testing across new and existing features.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer / Software Tester.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience creating, executing, and maintaining test cases.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira.
- Experience testing web applications.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST clients.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Ability to switch between automated and manual testing as needed.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
