Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans for Layer 0 (DWDN) and Layer 1 (OTN, Ethernet) technologies within Long Haul, DCI, and Metro optical systems.
- Execute protocol-based testing for L0 and L1 features, including but not limited to FCAPS, NBI automation, and security functions.
- Engage in system development lifecycle activities, interpreting system requirements to create detailed test strategies.
- Contribute to the evaluation of next-generation operating systems, ensuring alignment with modern software architectures such as microservices and containerization.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize test scenarios according to customer requirements and accelerate feature delivery.
- Design and implement automated test cases using standardized programming platforms to improve system reliability through repeated execution.
- Work independently to lead and complete product qualification tasks with ownership and accountability.
