Responsibilities
- Develop and carry out both manual and automated test procedures for SAP SuccessFactors, Workday components, or internal software platforms
- Carry out integration testing across HR technology systems to verify correct data exchange between connected applications
- Perform comprehensive end-to-end testing covering user interfaces, APIs, databases, ETL processes, and event-driven components to validate core HR processes
- Validate backend systems and APIs to ensure data accuracy and proper system interoperability
- Design, document, and run test scenarios using JIRA, with a preference for Xray test management integration
- Maintain and disseminate testing knowledge and documentation through Confluence
- Partner with teams across functions to detect, report, and resolve software defects
- Design and sustain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript, emphasizing maintainable and reusable code
- Incorporate automated testing into continuous integration and delivery pipelines via tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
- Perform database validation using complex SQL queries, focusing on data transformations, mappings, and business logic calculations
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and integration specialists to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- Respond to changing testing demands due to shifting business needs, delivering timely feedback and practical optimization suggestions
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools to support test case creation, generate test data, predict anomalies, enable self-correcting selectors, and execute autonomous testing
