Altoros is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to take full ownership of building a test automation framework from the ground up for a modern fintech platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys autonomy, technical decision-making, and shaping the long-term quality strategy.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement a test automation framework from scratch, selecting the tools and tech stack that fit best.
- Define the automation strategy, standards, and best practices.
- Automate regression, functional, API, and integration test suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, product owners, and DevOps teams.
- Identify gaps in the current testing process and propose improvements.
- Ensure high test coverage and maintainability of the automation suite.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in test automation for both UI and API.
- Proven ability to independently design and build automation architecture.
- Solid programming skills in a modern language like Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Selenide, or RestAssured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
- A proactive mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
