Work as a licensed psychiatrist providing comprehensive virtual mental health services to patients across the country. You'll conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, diagnose conditions, and create individualized treatment plans using secure video platforms. Your primary focus will be direct patient care, including ongoing management of psychotropic medications and monitoring of treatment response, adherence, and side effects.
Patient Care & Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform remote psychiatric assessments and mental status examinations
- Review patient histories, document findings, and maintain accurate medical records
- Prescribe and adjust medications based on clinical progress and tolerability
- Collaborate with care teams to support holistic patient outcomes
- Participate in scheduled peer chart reviews as part of quality assurance
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold an active, unrestricted M.D. or D.O. license in your state of residence
- Be board certified by the ABPN or AOBNP
- Have completed an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency
- Demonstrate comfort with digital health tools and video conferencing platforms
- Commit to ongoing medical education and clinical best practices
