Shape provider engagement and improve oral health outcomes in Iowa as a Provider Partner Consultant. In this role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between dental providers and the organization, fostering strong relationships that support network effectiveness and member access to care. Your expertise will guide dentists and office staff in understanding benefit programs, contract requirements, and technology tools that enhance practice efficiency and patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with dental providers across Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Commercial, and Direct to Consumer lines.
- Conduct office visits, phone outreach, and email communication to educate providers on policies, procedures, and technology platforms.
- Analyze provider cost reports to identify opportunities for improved cost and quality performance.
- Recruit new providers and support retention by increasing awareness of available programs and services.
- Promote the use of web-based applications and electronic claims submission to streamline operations.
- Deliver presentations to provider groups, educational institutions, and community organizations on oral health topics.
- Represent the organization at trade shows, health fairs, audits, and dental summits.
- Conduct fee schedule analyses and assist in developing competitive, customized agreements.
- Monitor provider satisfaction and contribute to strategies that enhance client and provider experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine processes and support continuous quality improvement.
- Prepare and submit required reports and serve as a subject matter expert for your region.
- Stay current with Office Reference Manuals and adapt materials to meet local market needs.
Qualifications
You bring at least five years of dental office experience and a solid understanding of managed care systems. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. You’re self-motivated, capable of working independently, and comfortable traveling locally up to 50% of the time. A deep commitment to provider support and quality improvement is key to success in this role.
