Responsibilities

  • Design and construct laboratory environments that adapt to the changing demands of engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Enhance lab functionality and efficiency by integrating new technologies and streamlining workspace layouts
  • Manage the complete inventory of laboratory equipment, including tools, chemicals, and disposable supplies
  • Develop and enforce systems for lab organization and cleanliness, providing training to ensure compliance
  • Maintain adherence to safety protocols and industry-specific regulatory standards in all workspaces
  • Deliver direct technical assistance to engineers and technicians through prototype construction, station setup, and testing
  • Employ additive and subtractive manufacturing techniques to produce precise and functional prototype components
  • Operate and service a variety of machinery, power tools, and hand tools used in rapid prototyping
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, organizing tasks to meet aggressive timelines and production goals
