Responsibilities
- Support the leadership of proposal initiatives and personnel in coordination with the Capture or Sales Team Leader
- Engage in shaping proposal strategies and core messages, and oversee the creation of a Proposal Management Plan
- Lead the development and evaluation of a structured proposal outline to guide content design and consistency
- Help assess solicitation documents and bid requirements in relation to the proposal outline to confirm responsiveness and compliance
- Construct and maintain a compliance matrix to monitor fulfillment of all requested criteria
- Evaluate finalized storyboards and proposal segments to verify completeness and adherence to page constraints
- Schedule and facilitate regular progress check-ins and track adherence to the proposal timeline
- Design a Pink Team review process to assess early-stage technical and management approaches
- Oversee writing, editing, and revision tasks as necessary to maintain quality and consistency
- Collaborate with volume leads to ensure seamless integration and alignment across proposal sections
- Plan a Red Team review to conduct a final internal evaluation of the full proposal
- Ensure all feedback from the Red Team is properly addressed and integrated
- Supervise the Proposal Coordinator in all phases of proposal development and production
- Perform additional duties typical for a Proposal Manager as assigned by the Business Development or Capture lead
