Spectrum Association Management was looking for a Property Manager - HOA Management Communities (Community Manager)

About the Role

The role involves managing the day-to-day functions of HOA communities, including enforcing governing documents, coordinating maintenance, and serving as the primary point of contact for residents and board members.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of residential homeowners' associations
  • Enforce community rules and governing documents fairly and consistently
  • Serve as main liaison between board members and residents
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes
  • Manage collection of assessments and monitor delinquent accounts
  • Coordinate with vendors for property maintenance and repairs
  • Inspect properties to ensure compliance with community standards
  • Assist board directors with policy development and implementation
  • Administer annual budgets and financial reporting
  • Respond promptly to resident inquiries and concerns
  • Organize and support community events when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of association activities and correspondence
  • Facilitate open communication between management and homeowners
  • Support architectural review committees with application processing
  • Monitor insurance coverage and assist with claims as needed
  • Prepare reports for board review and decision-making
  • Oversee reserve studies and long-term planning initiatives
  • Manage vendor contracts and evaluate service performance
  • Promote a positive living environment through professional engagement
