Responsibilities
- Be responsible for managing delivery of inspection services “Delivery”, often involving deployment of a SkySpecs autonomous drone and a field technician to a wind farm.
- Support Project Management function as as directed
- Completes administrative duties such as documentation & paperwork
- Keeps project management tools & software updated daily for project planning, execution and logistics.
- Generate and distribute reports to the project team, stakeholders and others, as well as function as a general assistant to the management team
- Coordinate, manage and support logistics, scheduling and project execution as directed.
- Track and manage field performance to optimize efficiency for limited deployment resources
- Build & maintain relationships with customers
- Engage with field technicians and ensure proper support is provided for the assigned customer work
- Provide customer focused service
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve operational challenges
- Manage most aspects of inspections project phases independently, on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversees small department projects or phase(s) of a larger projects (beyond inspections projects), and has responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close)
- Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, project management, or similar
- Proficiency working in Microsoft Excel or Google sheets
- Entrepreneurial spirit, work ethic, and flexibility. Must be able to handle high-level, long-term planning one moment and switch to fast-paced project execution the next
- Must be comfortable making decisions independently and juggling multiple tasks with critical deadlines
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, planning and communication skills; high attention to detail; consistent follow through; a stellar team player
- Must be comfortable with ambiguity and fast, constant changes to “the plan” with the ability to adapt quickly and make it seem effortless
- Must be able to manage competing interests while maintaining a sense of urgency and meet frequent short timelines, goals, and deadlines
- Fluent in English

- Startup or tech experience
- Experience with or understanding of wind energy / renewables
- Customer service experience
- Practical experience utilizing process control, logistics, maintenance / tech support, quality, metrics tracking, or similar systems
- Experience working with international customers and cross-cultural communications
- Associate’s degree or higher in operations, engineering, logistics, project management, or similar
- Experience with or understanding of drones and/or aviation regulations
Work Arrangement
Hybrid — Ann Arbor, Michigan, remote in the U.S

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travel: This role requires travel approximately 2% of the time.
- This position does not offer financial support for relocation.
