Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while fostering a collaborative and client-centered environment.
- Promote the firm’s reputation through effective engagement with partners, clients, and design teams.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge and remain informed about evolving industry standards and practices.
- Perform structural design and analysis for new builds, renovations, restorations, and rehabilitation initiatives.
- Assess existing structures using expertise in various construction materials and structural systems.
- Produce comprehensive engineering documentation, including drawings, technical reports, and specifications.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members, to achieve project goals.
- Oversee project schedules, milestones, and financial parameters to ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct field inspections during construction and support contract administration activities.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication between clients, contractors, and consulting professionals.
- Develop assessment reports, construction packages, and project submissions.
- Represent the firm at client meetings and industry events with a focus on service excellence.
- Contribute to the professional growth of junior staff through mentorship and knowledge transfer.
- Travel occasionally within Canada, with most assignments located in Alberta.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary to support project and team objectives.
