HENSOLDT is hiring a Project Manager Service Operations Management to lead our service operations for ship-based and ground-based radar systems from our Ulm location. You will be responsible for leading service operations teams and managing service contracts for military and civilian customers worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Lead cross-departmental Service Operations Teams of 8-10 members to fulfill delivery obligations in national and international service projects.
- Manage internal and external service providers.
- Create offers and lead contract negotiations for extensive service packages in national and international environments.
- Develop innovative service concepts based on customer-specific requirements.
- Participate in the interdisciplinary product team for the TRX-3D radar product family throughout its lifecycle to ensure supportability for a worldwide installed base of approximately 60 systems.
What We're Looking For
- A successfully completed university degree in engineering, communication technology, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years of project management experience with contract negotiations in national and international environments.
- Basic knowledge of export and customs regulations.
- Openness to teamwork in an international and multicultural environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with customers and contractors.
- Knowledge of common management tools such as MS Project and SAP.
- Language skills: fluent German and business fluent English.
