House Buyers of America is hiring a Project Manager (Construction)

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to plan and execute projects.
  • Ensure all projects meet quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Prepare and submit project reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
  • Maintain open communication with clients and team members.
  • Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Develop and implement project schedules and timelines.
  • Manage project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the project team to discuss progress and address concerns.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with environmental regulations.
  • Manage project closeout activities, including final inspections and client handover.
  • Develop and maintain project management tools and templates.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage project changes and variations effectively.
  • Ensure all project team members are trained and certified as required.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM, etc.).
  • Experience with LEED or other green building certifications.
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
  • Experience with construction estimating and bidding processes.
  • Knowledge of construction law and contract administration.
  • Experience with public sector construction projects.
  • Familiarity with construction accounting and financial management.
  • Experience with construction safety management systems.
  • Knowledge of construction technology and innovation.
