Sense Engineering is hiring a Project Manager - Building Restoration

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate professionalism, dedication, and a cooperative attitude in all work activities.

  • Strengthen organizational reputation by delivering high-quality service to partners.
  • Act as a professional representative, fostering strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and consulting peers.
  • Advance technical knowledge and remain informed about evolving industry standards and innovations.
  • Oversee restoration projects from initial planning through to final delivery.
  • Lead the creation of project proposals, including defining scope, estimating costs, scheduling, and allocating resources.
  • Perform on-site assessments and structural evaluations.
  • Produce comprehensive technical reports, offer project recommendations, and guide construction teams during implementation.
  • Develop detailed restoration plans, including work scopes, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Lead client-facing meetings and communicate design progress, modifications, and critical milestones to stakeholders and consultants.
  • Manage procurement activities and contract oversight, including bid documentation, contractor evaluation, and financial reviews.
  • Participate in industry gatherings and networking events to support professional visibility.
  • Maintain a commitment to ongoing education by tracking updates in codes, regulations, and industry methods.
  • Offer technical support and mentorship to early-career engineering staff.
  • Travel occasionally across Canada, with most assignments located in Alberta.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support project and team objectives.
