About the Role

This role involves assisting clients with project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring timely delivery of objectives within scope and budget.

Responsibilities

Lead project planning activities to define goals and timelines
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and expectations
Monitor project progress against milestones and deliverables
Identify and manage risks and issues throughout project lifecycle
Support development of project documentation and status reports
Facilitate communication between team members and clients
Ensure adherence to project management methodologies
Assist in resource allocation and task assignments
Contribute to post-implementation reviews and lessons learned
Maintain accurate records of project decisions and changes
Support change management processes during project transitions
Work with teams to resolve project-related challenges
Track budgets and report financial performance
Align project activities with strategic client objectives
Use collaboration tools to manage workflows and deadlines
Participate in client meetings and presentations
Support quality assurance checks on deliverables
Help onboard new team members to project initiatives
Promote efficient project governance practices
Contribute to continuous improvement of project frameworks

Nice to Have

Master's degree in a relevant discipline
Experience in energy or natural resources sectors
Advanced certification in project management
Prior work experience in Alberta-based projects
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid methodologies
Bilingual communication skills (English and French)
