We are looking for an experienced Project Finance Advisor to support EPC + Finance transactions for large infrastructure and industrial projects in Africa and the Middle East. This is a freelance, part-time advisory role ideal for a senior consultant or independent advisor with proven deal experience, working with Franco Pinto on structuring and validating complex project finance deals involving Chinese EPC contractors and financing institutions.
What You'll Do
- Advise on EPC + Finance deal structures for industrial and infrastructure projects
- Support project bankability assessment (risk, guarantees, cash flow logic)
- Review and comment on LOIs, MOUs, EPC contracts, and financing structures
- Participate in selected calls or meetings with EPC contractors, lenders, or project owners
- Advise on guarantees (sovereign, bank, escrow, offtake) and risk mitigation
- Support alignment between project owners, EPCs, and financing parties
What We're Looking For
- Experienced in project finance advisory
- Real transaction exposure in EPC + Finance deals
- Experience with large infrastructure and industrial projects
- Experience working with Chinese EPC contractors
- Experience engaging with financing institutions
- Proven ability to structure and validate complex project finance transactions
- Advisory and hands-on capability in deal structuring and risk assessment
Nice to Have
- Experience in Africa and the Middle East markets
- Familiarity with sovereign, bank, escrow, and offtake guarantees
- Prior involvement in project bankability assessments
- Track record of aligning project owners, EPCs, and financiers
