Responsibilities
- Maintain regular on-site presence during all phases of construction.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote a strong culture of safety within the project team and across the site.
- Participate in safety leadership meetings as required.
- Serve as Site Project Manager per the client’s Airport Direction D-O Construction Projects, completing all mandated competency training.
- Assume additional responsibilities outlined in the client’s Airport Directions and Safety Management System.
- Evaluate construction quality plans and inspection and test plans (ITPs).
- Conduct quality assurance activities on design-and-build projects to verify compliance with technical requirements.
- Perform quality control inspections on traditional contracts, including full verification at scheduled Hold and Witness points.
- Carry out routine site inspections to confirm alignment with contract documents, specifications, quality plans, and industry standards.
- Review and provide feedback on contractor risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) prior to submission to the P2W permit system.
- Track and provide input on the progress of the contract programme.
- Keep a detailed and accurate site diary.
- Produce comprehensive daily reports covering site conditions, weather, labor, equipment, materials, deliveries, work locations, safety performance, and quality observations.
- Engage with stakeholders before, during, and after project execution.
- Collaborate with relevant departments including landside and airside operations, and technical service offices (TSOs).
- Attend site progress meetings and complete all assigned follow-up tasks.
- Contribute to design meetings when required and fulfill associated action items.
- Approve project deliverables and documentation as needed.
- Adapt to new systems and work processes, attending training to maintain required competencies.
- Where applicable, act as the NEC Supervisor, operating independently from the Project Manager in line with contractual obligations.
