Responsibilities
- Manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining strong organizational skills.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to address requests for information, claims, payment processing, disputes, and project updates.
- Control and maintain accurate project records, ensuring all closeout documentation is properly filed.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and engage with stakeholders to safeguard client objectives.
- Work from field offices when necessary to support project timelines and deliverables.
- Lead project management activities such as scope development, scheduling, budget oversight, document review, meeting coordination, risk assessment updates, bid preparation, construction monitoring, contract administration, and submittal evaluation.
- Deliver engineering assistance to internal departments related to rail operations and infrastructure.
- Produce design drawings and procurement packages for tendering processes.
- Prepare cost estimates for project planning and budgeting.
- Oversee the decommissioning and removal of railway track systems.
- Conduct on-site inspections of track and civil infrastructure to ensure compliance and quality.
- Provide on-call engineering support, including immediate response during emergencies at project locations.
- Coordinate railway flagging operations to ensure safe worksite conditions.
- Review construction activities in the field to verify alignment with design plans, specifications, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
