Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager with day‑to‑day project coordination and on‑site activities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist in setting up project folders, templates, and required documentation during project start‑up
- Maintain project files and records on shared servers and document control systems
- Track, log, and manage project documentation, including RFIs, reports, and general correspondence
- Ensure drawing and report folders are current and distribute updated information as needed
- Support preparation and tracking of change notices and change orders
- Schedule, attend, and take minutes for project meetings and conference calls
- Generate, log, and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Assist in preparing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and Quality Assurance documentation
- Track and summarize site hours worked in alignment with project reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safe work practices
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a technical diploma or engineering degree program (Civil, Electrical, Construction, or related field)
- Interest in the civil or electrical utility sector
- Understanding of basic project coordination concepts such as scheduling, documentation control, and change management
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Comfortable working in both office and field/site environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project
- Highly organized with strong time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently and accurately in a fast‑paced environment

- Experience with Hard Dollar or SAP is an asset
