Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary project controls teams to enhance service delivery and improve processes continuously.
- Improve efficiency for nuclear clients by establishing project controls strategies at project, program, and portfolio levels to enable informed decision-making.
- Develop and execute governance and assurance frameworks for project controls outputs.
- Ensure compliance with NEC or FIDIC contract standards in managing project controls data and deliverables.
- Collaborate with client teams to define work breakdowns, scope elements, and associated controls products.
- Design and document customized, integrated project controls approaches, such as in a Project Control System Definition.
- Define project scope by identifying exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies, and oversee its structured breakdown.
- Partner with Integrated Project Teams to set reliable Performance Measurement Baselines and manage change control procedures.
- Work with Project and Commercial Management to define supplier controls requirements and integrate supplier performance data.
- Maintain alignment between scope, cost, schedule, and risk, analyzing performance to inform delivery decisions.
- Coach and train client and junior team members in performance measurement and reporting practices.
- Guarantee the accuracy, quality, and consistency of project controls deliverables.
- Conduct line management duties, including performance reviews and career development support.
- Engage with senior leaders to report on performance in complex project environments.
- Guide teams in using project controls tools like Primavera P6, Power BI, and Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Drive positive outcomes by proactively addressing client challenges and opportunities.
- Build strong relationships through clear communication and collaborative teamwork.
- Foster team potential through empathetic leadership, respectful engagement, and effective collaboration.
