Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain Java-based applications within the payments environment.
- Support a high-availability system that manages large-scale installment payment initiation, processing, and settlement for internal and customer-facing platforms.
- Apply expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), command-line interface (CLI), and cloud services integration to build scalable solutions.
- Implement secure and efficient development practices using DevSecOps tools and methodologies.
- Interpret user requirements to analyze, design, and create effective system solutions.
- Offer technical guidance in diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of systems development tools and technologies to support application lifecycle needs.
- Stay current with evolving technology trends relevant to enterprise banking systems.
- Support team development by helping identify training opportunities or mentoring junior staff members.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.
Responsibilities

- Demonstrate knowledge of and can deliver solutions using GCP, CLI, services and integrations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and can deliver solutions using DevSecOps tool chains and processes.
- Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.
- Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.
- Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.
- May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
