As a Programmatic Account Manager based in Tokyo, you will play a central role in helping clients unlock the full potential of an AI-driven media optimization platform. Your expertise will ensure smooth onboarding, effective campaign execution, and measurable performance improvements for key partners across the programmatic landscape.
What You’ll Do
- Master the core principles and technical capabilities of an AI-powered advertising solution, translating complex functionality into clear client benefits.
- Guide new clients through setup and activation, ensuring fast, effective integration into their existing workflows.
- Configure and fine-tune AI models to meet specific campaign objectives, aligning with client KPIs across display and video formats.
- Design and support A/B testing frameworks to validate performance gains and build data-backed business cases.
- Analyze campaign results to generate actionable insights, then present findings to stakeholders in a clear, persuasive format.
- Work hand-in-hand with client trading teams to maintain consistent, positive ROI outcomes over time.
- Identify and resolve technical or operational challenges by coordinating with internal specialists and engineering resources.
- Support business growth by deepening relationships with existing accounts and contributing to new client acquisition efforts.
- Maintain proactive communication, anticipating needs and delivering service that builds long-term trust.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluency in both Japanese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of five years managing programmatic campaigns, with direct experience in DSP environments.
- Hands-on background optimizing campaigns in DV360, particularly for YouTube and Display inventory.
- Strong analytical ability—comfortable interpreting performance data and turning it into strategic recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-moving, remote-first setting.
- Degree holder or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Self-driven work ethic with a focus on accountability and client success.
- Willingness to travel locally for client and agency meetings approximately once per month.
Preferred Background
- Experience working with Meta Ads, Google Ads, or other major programmatic platforms.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Tokyo, requiring three days per week in office and two days remote. The structure supports collaboration while allowing flexibility for focused client work.
