Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and modification of programs to meet community needs, national regulations, and donor criteria.
- Build data-informed program models focused on measurable outcomes, designed for scalability and responsiveness to local challenges.
- Integrate gender inclusion, accessibility, and climate adaptation principles into program frameworks where applicable.
- Produce comprehensive design documentation, including logic models and implementation protocols.
- Collaborate with technical specialists in areas such as agriculture, water, health, and livelihoods to embed sector best practices.
- Partner with monitoring, evaluation, and learning teams to embed impact assessment tools within program structures.
- Support country teams during the shift from planning to execution, offering technical guidance and resources.
- Consult with local authorities, community representatives, and civil society to align programs with community priorities.
- Take part in workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather feedback and improve program models.
- Coordinate with funding and donor relations staff to ensure proposals meet financial and strategic requirements.
- Help develop program frameworks that can be realistically implemented across diverse regions.
- Propose creative strategies that improve program performance and long-term viability.
- Capture and share insights, successes, and challenges to guide future program improvements.
- Ensure all designs comply with local laws and donor-specific regulatory standards.
- Deliver regular updates on design progress to the Regional Coordinator and other key stakeholders.
- Assist in proposal writing by contributing technical expertise and design content.
