Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations related to workplace safety, food safety protocols, and equitable employment practices within the assigned operational area.
- Manages daily production activities and personnel to meet defined output and quality benchmarks.
- Supports short-term production goals by organizing shift schedules, material orders, equipment usage, issue resolution, and maintenance planning.
- Collaborates with other departments to maintain consistent production, efficiency, and product quality.
- Plans, trains, and engages the production team to meet production targets efficiently; participates in hiring by interviewing and recommending candidates.
- Identifies and proposes enhancements to production processes or workflow methods.
- Applies established procedures to resolve operational issues and elevate product quality.
- Reports equipment or machinery in need of modification to improve output and quality; completes additional duties as required by production or client needs.
