As a Production Specialist, you'll play a key role in advancing initiatives that address pressing global challenges, including public health, climate resilience, disaster response, and social equity. This part-time, on-call position supports a diverse portfolio of projects, translating creative concepts into polished, production-ready deliverables for print and digital platforms.
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end production workflows, from initial file creation to final output, ensuring consistency and quality across all formats.
- Collaborate with creative teams to prepare materials for client review and final approval.
- Generate press-ready files tailored to various printing standards and specifications.
- Package and preflight digital assets for distribution to print vendors and media partners.
- Prepare content for online, web, and mobile use, including development of functional fillable PDFs with embedded calculations.
- Ensure all documents meet accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance, and support remediation efforts.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a creative or marketing environment, with a focus on production.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent professional background.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite—especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Demonstrated understanding of print production processes and preflighting best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and document remediation processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, especially for email development, is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
