Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the equipment if necessary.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on the equipment.
- Verify quality checks throughout the shift.
- Complete necessary reports.
- Make adjustments to process to ensure production specifications are maintained.
- Train all new employees.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer experience is required.
- Fryer Operator certification
- Bread/Batter Operator certification
- SAP certification
- HACCP certification
- Pallet jack driver certification
Work Arrangement
On-site — Waco, Texas
Additional Information
- Employee is required to wear a hair net, beard net (if necessary), gloves, smock, slip proof boots, ear protection, and fryer gloves as needed.
- Temperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility.
- Face coverings are available to all team members.
- Enhanced cleaning and sanitation is regularly performed.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Work environment: cold, wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, occasional risk of electrical shock and vibration, very loud noise level.
- All employees are required to attend employee and safety orientation prior to performing duties.
- New employees are assigned to a Supervisor for further orientation and may have a training buddy.
- Supervisor is accountable for tracking employee progress and performance.
- Probationary period assigned to evaluate employee effectiveness and performance.
- At end of probationary period, supervisor evaluates job performance including attendance, tardiness, interaction with co-workers and management, attitudes and work actions.
- Unacceptable performance and disciplinary actions documented on corrective action reports.
- Absent any negative actions, employee may be eligible for a wage increase according to wage and salary policies in effect at that time.
